Photo 52: Project Light | exploring diffused light-3

Welcome to week 37 of the Photo 52: Project Light blog circle where this month we are exploring diffused light. This week I started a new personal project focusing on still life photography. I have been using my dining room table because it gets natural light from all directions including a skylight above. I have been placing objects on the table and watching the light as it changes throughout the day. This day I placed on the table a tiny shot glass bouquet of chive flowers that my daughter picked for me on Mother's Day. Late afternoon had nice diffuse light with a little backlight from a high west window.

Photo 52: Project Light is a collaborative year long project I am working on with several other talented photographers. To see all of our submissions for this week just follow the links at the bottom of each blog post. (For more information on Project Light click on my premier post.)

Next click on over to the gorgeous blog of my friend Julie Mak. (Her design is modern and elegant. I have huge blog envy!) She just finished up a fine art photography workshop and has been sharing some beautiful work over there. After you check out Julie, please continue around the blog circle to see all of our plays with light.

I love this project and all your different perspectives!! Number 3 is my favorite. I love the placement of the flowers in the frame. I can't wait to see more from you, Lisa!!

I love this series and I keep coming back to it. What a great project- I need to do something like this! I love all the perspectives and the light but my favorite one is the last one with her little hand. It just completes the whole series!

Lisa I love this series and all of the different perspectives you have here! The purple and green pop wonderfully in front of the yellow wall. I find #3 to be so hopeful, with all of the flowers seeming as they are trying so hard to reach out toward the light. The last three are my favorites. Can't wait see more of your still lifes!

PS thank you for the awesome shout out! :)
Beautifiul series and what a fun project! I love the oof one in particular.
