It is a new year, a new month, and a new topic for our project Photo 52.2: Framed. For the first two months we will be spotlighting Perspective, with four weeks examining the way your choice of lens can alter your viewpoint, and the second four focusing more on the camera and photographer.
To kick it all off, this week we are tackling visual "inclusion" which often entails the use of a wide angle lens to capture a complex scene or to tell a story. My photos this week are all taken with my 28mm f1.8 lens at a new years eve party we held at our home. It was crazy fun and I enjoyed the time with my friends tremendously! But I was amazed to see our humble house magically expand to accomodate the abundance of family and friends and even a band! And the sight of a stand-up bass reclining casually across our couch was just too beautiful.
