Photo 52: Project Light | exploring directional light-4

June 23, 2013  •  5 Comments

Welcome back to Photo 52: Project Light blog circle and we are continuing this month's topic of directional light. It is week 42 of this 52 week project which means we are nearing the end! So not surprisingly our group has been discussing the future direction of our circle and even our individual directions on this continuing photographic journey. This week I ventured to the Big Apple to finally meet in person many of the wonderful and talented women who I have been traveling with, only virtually, for the past few years. It was a wonderful time with great conversation and gorgeous light! It was clear and bright and the direction was up.

Photo 52: Project Light is a collaborative year long project I am working on with several other talented photographers. To see all of our submissions for this week just follow the links at the bottom of each blog post. (For more information on Project Light click on my premier post.)

Next click on over to visit Sarah Davis and see her interpretation of directional light this week. Then please continue around the blog circle to see all of our plays with light.

These are all fantastic, but your silhouette is just stellar!

SO SO SO wonderful to meet you in person! I want you to come back as soon as possible. And these are gorgeous. Up is an excellent direction.

The silhouette in that first shot is dynamite! So is the composition and angle!

I love the perspective! great light and shadows. I love the pop of color and lines in the last one.
