Photo 52: Project Light | exploring day light-2

At the beach, life is different. A day moves not from hour to hour but leaps from mood to moment. We go with the currents, plan around the tides, follow the sun.

Welcome again to Photo 52: Project Light. This month we are exploring light at different times of the day and this week is mid-day light. As I mentioned in my last post we just got back from a family trip to Hawaii. I've been culling and editing these photos ALL week. The top photo is one of my favorites so far. The bottom one I'm drawn to and have been playing with quite a bit in post processing. I'm not completely satisfied yet, but here it is just for some fun.

Photo 52: Project Light is a collaborative year long project I am working on with several other talented photographers. To see all of our submissions for this week just follow the links at the bottom of each blog post. (For more information on Project Light click on my premier post.)

Next click on over to the blog of my friend Kami Chaudhery and check out her take on day light in not-so-sunny Seattle. Then please continue around the blog circle to see all of our plays with day light.

I love the texture and processing on both. That first is A-MAZING and the cool colors of the second is beautiful!!
