Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working.

Welcome to Photo 52: Project Light, week 2 of playing with natural window light. Found a little backlight this week to inspire both me and my little artist at work.

Photo 52: Project Light is a collaborative project I am working on with several other talented photographers. To see all of our submissions for this week just follow the links at the bottom of each blog post. (For more information on Project Light click on my premier post.)

Next check out Erica Collins and her stunning images of her beautiful family. Then please continue along the circle to see all of our plays on natural light this week.

Those cheeks... and those eyelashes... so sweet! I love the serious expression, matched by the serious lighting which softly illuminates her head from behind.
Love that pen in the mouth! Oh the contemplation. She looks like she is doing some very important work!

I love these lifestyle images and the last one is my favorite - she is in such deep concentration and those eyelashes are to die for! The light is hitting her curls perfectly.
I love the first photo--i love seeing the thought process with the pencil to her mouth!! great use of backlighting!
She is the cutest! I can't believe she can hold a pen so well at her age! Perfect lifestyle captures!
